My name is Ranjan Rohatgi and I'm running for St. Joseph County Council to represent District B.
We need a council that prioritizes our well-being and helps ensure the safety of all of us who live in the County, not one that is mired in the political polarization that’s taken over national politics.

Why I'm Running
I loved not worrying about county politics, but at the same time using all of the great resources the county provided: the libraries, parks, recycling program, leaf pickup,
and more. That's exactly how local government should operate: we help those in our community who need it most and support everyone by making our lives easier and more affordable. But over the past few years, the County Council has abandoned the concerns and services that residents care about most and, instead, become driven by partisan ideology.

So even with two young daughters to raise — including a baby girl born just earlier this year — I couldn't sit on the sidelines after Portage Manor was shut down and members of the Council attacked our police department, health department, libraries and even our schools. I'm running for County Council so we can get back to making St. Joe County's services reliable, affordable, and accessible for everyone.
